Vernon & Crystal {vow renewal}

Today’s blog post features two of my favorite people! They were married exactly 10 years ago on May 10 and this year they decided to renew their vows. Their beach ceremony was held at First Landing State Park. It was my first time shooting there and it was lovely! I definitely would love to shoot more beach weddings! The sand ceremony was perfect for renewing their vows on the beach and it was a great way to incorporate their children.

Jenna Morris - These are so sweet, Hollie! I love the idea and it is making me consider something like this for my 10 year anniversary on 6/14. We will be arriving in the OBX that day. Hmmm, you and I may need to have a little chat.

Taylor {Senior}

Meet Taylor! She’s a senior at Patrick Henry this year! I’ve known Taylor and her family for quite some time now. We shared the same last name until I got married and although we’re not actually related, her mom and I used to tell everyone we were sisters. We did in fact have the same last name and we also both have dark curly hair and we’re tall, so it worked. Anyway, they are just the sweetest people and I was happy to capture this exciting time for Taylor! She plans to attend VCU (Go RAMS!!) in the fall and study nursing! Best wishes on your future endeavors, Taylor! I know you’ll do big things! XOXO!

Monday Miscellany

This weekend was a blur! I shot a wedding on Saturday in Amelia and Sunday I went to a baby shower (for someone you’ll be seeing some images of really soon!!) and then spent some QT with my boys. We did a little shopping and had dinner at a Hibachi restaurant. My little guy had never been, but he really enjoyed the fire and watching the hibachi chef catch an egg in his hat. I love seeing him experience new things! So much fun!

Now for the previous goals:
